History of Department of Management Studies

Department of Management Studies is one of the vital roles in society which nurtures management professionals to enter the workforce of an organization with a wealth of knowledge about practical business. Since 1996, the department was already launched undergraduate Certificate and Post-Graduate Diploma in business administrative courses to provide the requirement of business industry. The department launched the first Marketing Management Bachelor Programme In 2014, Post Graduate Diploma Programme in 2017 and Master in Marketing Management programme in 2018 in Co-operative University, Sagaing. The department is continually endeavoring to produce ethical and professionally business leaders and managers in the field of business management to contribute for nation building.

Vision

  • To foster the youth to be qualified human resource in management fields for every organization, especially to nurture the youth to become ethical global market leaders and entrepreneurs striving for sustainability and inclusive growth of our community.

Objectives

  • To understand the rules, policies and principles of management and to create future career in all respective roles of managerial sector
  • To manage systematically and promote public sector by nurturing and developing human resource management skills
  • To obtain socio-economic development for our society through sound management
