Academic Affairs Department
The Academic Affairs Department has the following main responsibilities: admission for Academic year, developing semester plan for the activities of the University,
carrying out school discipline matters, maintaining student’s personal information, holding literary competitions and sports competitions, conducting semester examinations, announcing transcripts and holding graduation ceremonies.
2. Graduation status and types of degrees for students
- Graduation status
Co-operative University, Sagaing started to offer Bachelor of Business Science in Economics from the 2012-2013 Academic year and 5 specialized subjects have been taught starting from the (2015-2016) Academic year. Starting from the 2017-2018 Academic year, 2263 graduates, 1360 graduates in specialized fields, 81 Postgraduate Diplomas and 63 Master’s degrees were awarded degrees.

3. Status of opening HRD courses
The following HRD courses were conducted by the Department of Commerce, the Department of Business Economics and the Department of Management at Co-operative University, Sagaing to increase employment opportunities and teaching and learning opportunities in the region.

4. Status of teacher capacity building training
In addition to knowledge and skills to increase competency, and to change attitude, we also offer ‘‘Capacity Building and Training of Trainers on Pedagogy’’ aimed at enhancing teachers’ teaching skills, as well as teaching methods, strategics, and leadership styles that can be effectively applied in the work place.
5. The situation of signing MoU with local and foreign organizations
As an international relations, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between Co-operative University, Sagaing and Korea Myanmar Research Association (KOMYRA) to promote beneficial research activities, educational activities, curriculum and syllabus between our University and Korea – Myanmar and to perform HRD and other teaching activities.

6. Library activities
- Lending books by e – circulation system using solib library atomation system, creating Membership Card for students to borrow books.
- Providing a library reading time once a week for students and supervised teachers for these reading hours.
- Teaching students how to use e – library, how to read e – books on library computers with solib offline database and how to download them by phone.
- Helping students, teachers and reseachers to find information from online, Registration on the meral portal page to study research papers and thesis papers.
- Announcing new books on the library facebook page and posting on the bulletin board.
- Holding the Reading Quiz program annually and giving awards for students to improve their reading skills.

7. Applicants to Universities/ Colleges
- Applicants must have passed the Metriculation Examination 2020 (Any Subjuet). The original Certificate of Success or copy of Certificate and the original Transcript of Academic Records must be submitted together.
- If applicants are eligible to attend the Co-operative University/ College, the Original Certificate of Success is needed to be submitted. If applicants are not selected to attend any Cooperative University/ College, it will be needed to apply to other universities in a timely manner so as not to offend students.
- Both the applicant and his/ her parents must hold the National Registrations Card or the Citizenship Scruting Card ( C ), (NC), (AC).
8. University / College Transfer
If you want to transfer from one Cooperative University / College to another, you can only do so if you meet the following criteria;
- If you would like to apply for a transfer because the parents are civil service and have to relocate on duty, you can submit a copy of their transfer order.
- If you want to apply for transfer for various other reasons, you can submit with valid documents.
