History of Department of Commerce
In 1996, the Co-operative Training School, Sagaing was upgraded and opened to the Co-operative College, Sagaing and the Commerce subjects were taught. In 2012, the Co-operative College, Sagaing was upgraded to Co-operative University, Sagaing. At that time, the Commerce Department was founded. Educational programs of Commerce have been implemented by nurturing the students to contribute the commercial sector and community development.
Vision
- To impart superior qualify commerce education and to nurture the students to be good at attitude, skills, and knowledge for employment opportunity, further studies, and sustainable development.
Mission
- Commerce education leads to enhance knowledge of trading-off costs and benefits for whatever sector performing in business and societies.
Objectives
- To produce the graduates who are knowledgeable and skillful in business related fields and to be excellent learning and research exposure.
